Quality and Certificates
At Royal Blue Avenue, we are committed to being at the forefront of sustainability. We continuously strive to make our materials, resources, and practices as sustainable as possible. As a result of our efforts, we are proud to hold the following certifications:
Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a product standard that certifies recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. It aims to promote the use of recycled materials and encourage sustainable practices throughout the supply chain, and is recognized by leading brands and retailers worldwide.
Our recycled polyamide is made exclusively from regenerated waste materials via a mechanical process that is entirely chemical-free. As a result, carbon dioxide emissions are drastically reduced by 80%, and water usage is reduced by 99% in comparison with a yarn made from virgin polyamide.
OEKO-TEX 100 Label
If a textile article carries the STANDARD 100 label, you can be certain that every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless for human health. The test is conducted by our independent OEKO-TEX® partner institutes on the basis of our extensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalog. In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances, which may be harmful to human health. In many cases the limit values for the STANDARD 100 go beyond national and international requirements. The criteria catalog is updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.
OEKO-TEX STeP
The OEKO-TEX STeP certificate means that a textile production facility has been evaluated and certified as sustainable by the OEKO-TEX organization. This certification takes into account factors such as environmentally friendly technologies, responsible social practices, and compliance with legal regulations. It indicates that the facility has taken steps to minimize its impact on the environment and to ensure the health and safety of its workers.
Amfori/BSCI (MEM 9919)
The BSCI is an initiative that helps companies improve working conditions in their supply chains and ensure better social conditions for workers. Companies participating in the BSCI commit to complying with a code of conduct that focuses on important labor standards, such as the right to freedom of association, no discrimination, no child labor, and safe and healthy working conditions. By participating in the BSCI, a company shows its commitment to responsible business practices and its aim to achieve ethical and sustainable production.
